An Alternative Route to a Diploma Program

Foundation Certificate in Creative Technologies

Get going in digital arts with MAGES Institute’s Foundation Certificate in Creative Technologies. It is a program made for total beginners or those already working creatively and wanting to explore their creative skills before committing to a diploma course that pursues Game, Design, and Animation.

As part of the Foundation Certificate program, you will explore the fundamentals of Creative Technologies, digital drawing, color theory, and visual composition, and introduce students to 3D modeling.

We also introduce you to the basic elements of interactive media and storytelling to build a foundation to learn and grow creatively.

Students will participate in hands-on projects to build confidence in using industry-standard software and develop their own style while doing it. The Foundation Certificate is well suited for students from non-art subjects who want to try out the creative process before committing to a diploma course.

You will learn how to use tools at MAGES, but we will also develop your critical and creative thinking. The Foundation Certificate will allow you to build your art and design skills for future learning in digital arts, game design, and entertainment technology programs.

Sometimes, all it takes is to start from nothing and add clarity and action to your future creative success. It all starts here!
